Whogohost Limited, Sidmach Technologies & Mediapanache Nigeria partnered to bring light to primary and secondary schools in order to give smart education at the free Smart School Workshop.
The workshop held on Saturday 11th November 2017 at Sidmach Technologies Ikeja, Lagos. The focus of the workshop was technology and the internet can make allow primary and secondary schools set a standard and be relevant to young parents of today.
Some benefits the attendees of the workshop gained include:
- improving the credibility of record keeping of staff and students
- the importance of having great and relevant content for the school’s website
- Smarter ways for teachers, parents and students to have unlimited access to learning resources.
- The use of Public Relation to sustain schools image
Akintunde Opawole of Sidmach Technologies explained how the correct data of staff and students can be kept safe, using the Smart school software. In addition to that, he also explained how the e-curriculum software allows schools get the latest curriculum easily.
The CEO of Mediapanache, Timilehin Bello, trained the attendees on the benefits of using social media to increase interaction with different people about their school activities. He revealed that parents of today relate very easily on social media platforms, and that can be a way of interacting with them.
Toba Obaniyi, CEO of Whogohost, talked about the importance of schools owning a website as well as the benefits that come with that.
In this age of technology revolution, it is important for every school to take advantage of the digital age to engage their students, teachers, Parents and every other stakeholder.
